About Asante and Southern Oregon -
Asante is one of the top 15 health systems in the nation and the largest healthcare provider in nine counties. We are locally owned and based in beautiful Southern Oregon. We provide comprehensive medical care to more than 580,000 people throughout southern Oregon and northern California. Our facilities employ over 5000 people and include Asante Ashland Community Hospital in Ashland, Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass, Asante Physician Partners, and additional healthcare partnerships throughout the region.

Company History
Asante’s roots date back to the early 1900s in Southern Oregon, where it has grown from a small, grassroots community hospital into a nationally acclaimed health care system. Asante is governed by a local board of directors composed of volunteers and physicians, and all organizational decisions are made by people who live and work in our community.
Asante is the largest non-seasonal employer in the region, with more than 5,500 employees. The organization includes Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass, Asante Ashland Community Hospital, Asante Physician Partners and other related health care partnerships.
As a not-for-profit, Asante is committed to reinvesting in the community. Annually, Asante provides millions in charitable care and local community health benefits to support medical and dental care for low-income individuals, behavioral health services, and education to train future health professionals.
