Work Environment
This role operates within a climate-controlled office setting and involves regular movement throughout the facility, which is designed to facilitate excellent patient care. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with various healthcare providers and department members, contributing to a rich and supportive work culture that prioritizes teamwork and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, utilizing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to diagnose when necessary and evaluate their mental health status.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect cultural diversity and are tailored to the specific needs and goals of the patient population served.
- Monitor and document patient progress, employing evidence-based practices to provide therapeutic interventions and support mental health diagnoses.
- Collaborate with patients and their families to create a comprehensive plan of care that outlines treatment objectives and desired outcomes.
- Facilitate referrals and coordinate care between patients and treatment providers to ensure seamless access to necessary resources.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, treatment records, and reports in compliance with departmental procedures and regulatory standards.
- Provide educational support and supervision for students, interns, and new staff members, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Engage in peer review and clinical supervision activities as directed by your clinical supervisor to enhance team member development.
Patient Population / Client Focus
This role primarily focuses on individuals and families impacted by cancer. The necessity for specialized mental health support in this population requires an understanding of the emotional challenges associated with diagnosis and treatment. Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- A current State License as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
