Job Title: LCSW Social Worker Profession: Social Services Specialty: Licensed Clinical Social Worker Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Medical Social Work License: Must be Licensed in California Certifications: LCSW, CPI Blue Card, MAB Must-Have: - Experience in ICU, trauma, or cardiology environments - Ability to work weekends and evenings - Travel experience required Description: This position requires a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in adult protective services, child protective services, and high-risk intervention. The ideal candidate should have familiarity with the Emergency Department and experience with psychiatric patients, trauma, and homeless populations. Candidates must have experience assessing suicide risk, conducting mini-mental state examinations, and navigating complex medical and psychosocial histories. Experience with diverse patient care including oncology, heart disease, neurological disorders, and domestic violence is essential. The role involves developing plans of care to meet patient and caregiver needs, and providing support for housing, Medicaid, Medicare, and medication assistance. Candidates will be expected to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide care to patients across multiple diagnoses.
